This piece is called ‘Endurance’ and is part of a two piece set with its partner ‘Invincible.’ The piece was created after my first chemo treatment was completed and with a feeling that I could get through anything now.
The piece was inspired by one of my favourite quotes, “the thought that we are enduring the unendurable is one of the things that keep us going.” By Molly Haskell
