This piece is called “invincible” and is part of a two piece set. All my work so far is acrylic and highly textured. I hope that you can feel the strength and movement in these pieces. I created this at the end of my first chemo treatment; this painting and it’s partner symbolise a desire to heal and go forward. I see elements of the sea in this piece, the sea never stops moving. Waves represent the change in flow we face throughout life, the ups and downs in life and how we overcome. The current of the tide symbolising power and strength.
